4th of July

Now on to our 4th of July celebration... after lots of debate, we decided to stay in town to celebrate Lorenzo's favorite holiday. James and Traci were sweet enough to host a party at their home in Rosemead, and lots of people showed up to enjoy the barbecue. Pete rented a large jumper/waterslide to entertain the kids, and it ended up entertaining the adults and dogs too! WE had an all-American picnic - burgers, hot dogs, deviled eggs, lots of salad, tri tip, apple pie, cookies... it was delicious! After the day of eating and playing, we sat out on the Espinozas' front lawn and watched two fireworks shows - the one at Rosemead Park and the one done by Jesse and the kids in front of the house! Ironically, I think we enjoyed the home show more!

The night before the 4th, we went up to Sierra Madre for some hometown fun. Charity and I packed a big picnic, and we had a great time watching the bands play, visiting with old friends, and hanging out in the beer garden. Our friend Chris took some great pictures - here's the link: http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLanding.action?c=jfto1ll.2jvfak1h&x=0&y=k7o9zu&localeid=en_US

All in all, a great holiday!
